CJ CheilJedang announced on the 13th that it will start selling Bibigo products at IGA, a large supermarket chain in Australia.

The products to be launched include three types of Bibigo home-style dumplings (pork, pork & kimchi, and vegetable) and two types of steamed dumplings (pork and pork & kimchi), as well as cheese hot dogs, totaling six types, which will gradually be introduced to IGA stores starting this month.

IGA is the fourth largest supermarket in Australia, with more than 1,300 stores located across the country. When combined with the number of stores of the first-ranked supermarket, Woolworths, and the second-ranked supermarket, Coles, in which CJ CheilJedang already has a presence, the total number of stores in Australia is close to 3,300. This accounts for over 80% of the stores of Australia’s major large retailers (ranked 1-4), which is expected to make it easier for consumers to experience Bibigo K-food.

Cha Yu-jin, head of CJ CheilJedang’s Oceania division, said, "We are rapidly expanding sales centered around the large retail channels primarily used locally," adding, "We will build a dense sales network across Australia so that customers can taste Bibigo anywhere."
