SPC Group's Paris Baguette announced on the 8th that it has signed an official partnership with the Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham Hotspur is a famous football club based in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, founded in 1882. Son Heung-min, the captain of the South Korean national football team, also serves as the captain of Tottenham Hotspur. Additionally, world-class star players, including new recruit Yang Min-hyeok, James Maddison, and Dejan Kulusevski, are playing on the team.
Paris Baguette expects that the partnership with Tottenham Hotspur will enhance its brand recognition in the global market, including the United Kingdom, and strengthen communication with domestic and international consumers.
Currently, Paris Baguette operates over 600 stores in 14 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia. Recently, it opened its first franchise in Europe in Canary Wharf, central London.
Starting January 1, Paris Baguette secured the rights to use the intellectual property of the Tottenham club, players, and stadium. Based on this, it plans to sell Paris Baguette coffee at Tottenham Hotspur's home stadium and create media advertising content featuring key players to share on domestic and international social media and stores.
It plans to launch various products and goods inspired by the Tottenham Hotspur team and players, including bread, cakes, and desserts, as well as hold consumer events such as ticket giveaways for watching matches.
Heo Jin-soo, CEO of Paris Baguette, said, "The partnership with the world-renowned football club Tottenham Hotspur is an opportunity to showcase Paris Baguette's excellent taste and quality to consumers in Korea, the United Kingdom, and around the world," adding, "Through the meeting of sports and bakery, we will deliver new value and pleasure to consumers and fans worldwide."
