Maeil Dairies announced on the 27th that it will shift from a dual CEO system with Kim Sun-hee and Kim Hwan-seok to a three-person CEO structure with Kim Sun-hee, Lee In-ki, and Kwak Jeong-woo. This change in the CEO role follows the resignation of Kim Hwan-seok, the CEO of Maeil Dairies. The new CEO structure will take effect on January 2.
Lee In-ki, the Chief Operating Officer, joined Maeil Dairies in 1996 and has previously served as the head of the Sangha Farm division, the head of the liquid beverage category, and director of planning. Before joining Maeil Dairies this year, Chief Communications Officer Kwak managed product management and business operations at Emart, SSG.com, and Shinsegae Food.
Meanwhile, Maeil Dairies added the management of intellectual property rights such as brands and trademarks and licensing operations as a new business objective at its board meeting on the same day.
