Seven Eleven announced on the 23rd that it has prepared over 400 gift sets reflecting the omnivore (deviating from stereotypes, focusing on individual consumption) trend for the 2025 Lunar New Year.
Seven Eleven will also introduce pure gold products this year. The pure gold items introduced since May 2021 have seen sales increase by more than 50% at each holiday since last year's Chuseok. The newly launched pure gold products include a 1-gram snake heart gold bar from the Korea Gold Exchange, as well as a 3.75-gram (1 don) snake gold bar and a 37.5-gram (10 don) gold bar, commemorating the Year of the Blue Snake in 2025. Additionally, a set of the 'Korea Gold Exchange Silver Bullion Medal Set,' featuring 12 zodiac signs engraved with 999.9% purity, and a 1000-gram silver bar will also be introduced.
The lineup of the three major planned gift sets has also been strengthened. The 'MD Recommended 20' features special products that have gained attention on social media, including a seasoned ribs set from 'Haeundae Beef Rib House.' The 'Recommended 20 by Price Range' section highlights reasonably priced gifts such as processed and maintenance gift sets in the 30,000 won range, seasoned dried yellow corvina sets in the 50,000 won range, an 11-variety fruit gift set, and four meat sets ranging from 130,000 to 498,000 won. The 'Best 20 Products' section gathers popular holiday gift sets from nine categories including processed goods, seafood, and alcoholic beverages.
In particular, from the 4th to the 4th of February, customers using Seven Eleven's affiliated event cards to purchase the three major planned gift sets will receive a 10% discount. During January, purchasing five types of alcohol sets with the affiliated payment method will provide a 20% discount. Additionally, day passes for the Vivaldi Park ski and snowboard lifts and Snowy Land (sledding) or Ocean World will be sold at the lowest prices online and offline.
