East West Foods has unveiled a coffee complex cultural space named Maxim Plant in Hannam-dong, Seoul, featuring a Christmas tree and new menu items for this winter.
Opened by East West Foods in 2018, Maxim Plant has recorded a total of 1.12 million visitors since its inception, showcasing a variety of seasonal interiors and differentiated content.
According to East West Foods on the 20th, the first floor of Maxim Plant has been decorated with a large Christmas tree and sparkling lights throughout the store. Additionally, in line with its concept of 'urban coffee factory,' visitors can see professional coffee manufacturing equipment, including a large roaster.
At Maxim Plant, there is an instant coffee menu that allows customers to enjoy Maxim coffee mix in a new way. The white gold black sesame latte, sold this winter, is described by East West Foods as a popular menu item that combines the smooth and sweet taste of Maxim white gold with the savory flavor of black sesame.
In addition, there are limited-time offerings each season such as the white gold mugwort latte, supreme gold cream latte, and supreme gold einspänner.
This past summer, four linked menu items using Maxim mocha gold were launched. The mocha gold quick shot, which captures intense espresso flavor, traditional mocha gold original, mocha gold boost for a richer taste in original coffee, and mocha gold ice for a refreshing experience gained popularity as fresh interpretations of Maxim mocha gold.
The brewing lounge on the third floor of Maxim Plant features a synesthesia coffee corner where visitors can experience specialty coffee with their senses of taste, smell, hearing, and sight. By selecting preferred coffee flavors, acidity, and roasting levels on a tablet, customers are recommended the most suitable coffee from among 16 types of specialty coffee beans. Accompanying this, descriptions of the coffee and matching poems and music are also provided.
According to East West Foods, special seating is available for synesthesia coffee, equipped with headsets allowing visitors to enjoy music while savoring coffee through various senses.
Additionally, Maxim Plant offers various coffee classes for general consumers, ranging from basic classes to learn the fundamentals of coffee to roasting classes where participants can roast and brew coffee themselves.
