Lotte Department Store said on the 19th that it will unveil a premium kids' section at its main store in Sogong-dong, Seoul, targeting the so-called VIB (Very Important Baby) demand that does not skimp on expenditures for children.

The kids' section, which will open on the 20th on the 7th floor of the main store, has been redesigned with a premium concept, from the interior to the brand. In particular, it added vibrancy by applying the visuals of 'Kinder Universe,' a children's specialty section that Lotte Department Store newly introduced earlier this year.

The premium kids' section has created a unique atmosphere by using warm colors centered around beige. The ceiling and floor emphasize round curves to organize the space. According to Lotte Department Store, it expresses the soft and fluffy sensibility of children.

Additionally, they have meticulously selected brands ranging from well-known premium labels to recently emerging brands. Starting with the French luxury kids' brand 'Bonpoint,' brands such as 'Fendi Kids' and 'Moncler Enfant' are expected to enter in the first half of next year.

Including the first standalone store of the British premium kids' brand 'Caramel' in the country, popular domestic and international brands such as 'Mardi Mercredi L'Eptit,' 'C.P. Under Sixteen,' 'Winken,' and 'Biscuit' will be showcased for the first time in the northern district of Seoul. In addition, Lotte Department Store's own premium infant product specialty editing shop, 'Kinder Atelier,' includes a comprehensive range of products necessary for childbirth, such as 'Atelier Choux,' 'Stokke,' and 'Benepia.'

To commemorate the renewal opening of the premium kids' section, Lotte Department Store will conduct a promotion from the 20th to the 25th, offering up to 10% of the purchase amount of kids' brands in Lotte gift vouchers. Kim Jong-hwan, the head of the Lotte Department Store main branch, noted, 'The newly renovated kids' section will continue to see premium brands enter in the future,' and added, 'We also plan to continue the gradual renovation we have been carrying out long-term.'
