According to police investigations, former and current intelligence commanders Moon Sang-ho and Roh Sang-won met at a Lotteria in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, on the 1st to discuss issues related to martial law. They are suspected of meeting with Colonel Kim and Colonel Jeong, affiliated with the intelligence agency, while eating hamburgers and telling them, "Martial law is coming, so be prepared."
A Lotteria representative stated, "We are surprised to be involved in a political issue" and noted, "We were not even aware that former and current intelligence commanders had come to our store; that location is just one of our sales points. Naturally, we have no plans to release related products."
