정용진, chairman of Shinsegae Group, meets Donald Trump Jr., the son of President-elect Donald Trump, in the United States. It is reported that Chairman Jung and Trump Jr., who have a close relationship, will meet for a two-day, one-night stay.

According to industry sources on the 17th, Chairman Jung will stay at the Mar-a-Lago Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, where President-elect Trump resides, from that day until the 19th. This visit to the United States is said to have been arranged at the invitation of Trump Jr.

The two will meet for the fourth time this year. Trump Jr. has visited Korea three times this year to meet with Chairman Jung. Chairman Jung is expected to engage in various discussions, including business, during this meeting with Trump Jr.

Currently, it is known that President-elect Trump is also staying at Mar-a-Lago. President-elect Trump will participate in a dinner event hosted by his fundraising organization, MAGA (Make America Great Again), on the 19th.

There are also expectations that Chairman Jung may meet President-elect Trump through an introduction by Trump Jr. If this occurs, Chairman Jung will become the first corporate representative to meet President-elect Trump since the U.S. presidential election.
