GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 16th that it will conduct advance sales of 'Lee Gyun Chamoe Minari Soju' and 'Imo-Kase Instant Grilled Seaweed' through the mobile app Our Neighborhood GS until the 18th.
Since mid-October, GS25 has sequentially revealed nine products in collaboration with ▲man-chit-nam Jo Kwang-hyo ▲Cheolga-Bang chef Lim Tae-hoon ▲the ultimate Japanese chef Jang Ho-jun.
The Black and White Chef products have sold over 500,000 units in the month following their full-scale sales last month.
When including the sales of four desserts utilizing the Black and White Chef IP (intellectual property), such as marshmallow cake and tiramisu, the total exceeds 1 million units.
'Lee Gyun Chamoe Minari Soju' is based on the traditional rice wine featured in the final round of 'Cooking with a Name,' where Chef Lee Gyun presented the drink along with 'Remaining Tteokbokki Dessert.' It is crafted from 100% domestic rice, chamoe, and minari.
'Imo-Kase Instant Grilled Seaweed' is a product conceptualized as 'seaweed tastier than caviar,' which captivated food YouTubers during the restaurant mission. It consists of three packs of laver in one set, with a pre-sale quantity of 1,500 sets, and the product will be available for pick-up on the 26th.
On the 18th, 'Imo-Kase No. 1 Perilla Oil Bibimbap' will be officially launched. This dish incorporates sides such as soy sauce bulgogi, fresh gondre vegetables, stir-fried potato strips, and radish salad, conceptualized from 'Omi Sanjeok,' one of the Imo-Kase course dishes.
