Shinsegae International announced on the 16th that it has signed an exclusive distribution contract in South Korea with the famous American makeup brand BareMinerals.
Starting this month, the products will be available on its own digital platform, SIVillage, and the Olive Young online shop. They will also be sold at the newly opened Olive Young N Seongsu store.
BareMinerals is a makeup brand that was launched in the United States in 1995. Based on the philosophy of "the more you apply, the better your skin becomes," it aims to create makeup products that provide skin improvement effects the more they are used. It has also developed high awareness among cosmetic enthusiasts in South Korea.
Shinsegae International plans to gradually expand its categories, starting with base makeup products such as foundations, powders, and primers, while also adding various color products and skincare and cleansing items.
A Shinsegae International official noted, "We plan to strengthen our cosmetic business by continuously introducing promising global brands to the domestic market."
