The Korea Housing Builders Association said on the 10th that it held the "2026 sponsorship fund delivery event for social welfare facilities" on the 9th at 13 locations nationwide, including the Seongjaewon social welfare corporation in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
The association's headquarters and 13 city and provincial branches took part in the event and delivered a total of 1.06 billion won in sponsorship funds to social welfare facilities across the country.
Key executives of the association, including Chair Kim Seong-eun of the Korea Housing Builders Association, Vice Chair Jeon Munsu, Seoul Chair Kim Young-gon, and Daejeon, Sejong and South Chungcheong Chair Kim Yong-gwan, visited Seongjaewon in Daejeon in person.
Chair Kim Seong-eun said, "We will continue to listen to the voices of community welfare facilities like Seongjaewon and underserved groups, expand various support and sharing on an ongoing basis, and fulfill our social responsibilities as a public organization."
