Lotte E&C surpassed 4 trillion won in cumulative urban renewal orders this year after winning the reconstruction project for Dogok Woosung Apartments in Gangnam District, Seoul.
Lotte E&C said on the 6th that it was selected as the Sigongsa for the reconstruction and maintenance project of Dogok Woosung Apartments.
The Dogok Woosung Apartments reconstruction is a project to build apartments and auxiliary welfare facilities with four buildings, 566 households, and six underground to 26 above-ground floors in Dogok-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul. The construction cost is 400.2 billion won.
Lotte E&C applied its high-end residential brand "LEEL" to the complex and proposed "Dogok LEEL" as the complex name.
It will also collaborate with global architectural firm JERDE to design the exterior and create community facilities such as a sky lounge, along with a walking trail, lawn plaza, and gardens.
Including this project, Lotte E&C won six urban renewal projects this year. Cumulative orders amount to 4.001 trillion won.
A Lotte E&C official said, "We plan to push the project forward based on our accumulated construction capabilities and project execution experience," adding, "We will actively participate in public renewal projects as well as major renewal projects in Gangnam and Mok-dong."
