IPARK Hyundai Development Company said on the 31st it won the construction contract for the Jangam District 2 redevelopment project in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, valued at about 900 billion won.
According to IPARK Hyundai Development Company, the company was confirmed as the final constructor after winning 451 votes (84%) out of 538 union members who voted at the general meeting to select the constructor for the Jangam District 2 redevelopment, held on the 29th at the Uijeongbu Island Castle Hotel.
The project is an urban renewal initiative to newly build 13 apartment buildings ranging from three basement levels to 40 above-ground floors, totaling 2,344 households and ancillary welfare facilities, in the area around 602-13, Singok-dong, Uijeongbu. The total project cost comes to 900.2 billion won, and it will be developed on a total site area of 96,937 square meters with a total floor area of 414,468 square meters. The exclusive supply areas will range from 39 square meters to 140 square meters.
IPARK Hyundai Development Company plans to introduce an advanced AI-based residential system, including a large sky bridge, an original main entrance, and stylish community landscaping. In particular, it proposed top-tier residential standards such as a sky community space with panoramic views of Suraksan and the Jungnangcheon, an indoor swimming pool with four lanes, one elevator per household, and an in-unit automatic food waste transfer system.
The Singok-dong area where the project site is located boasts excellent locational conditions. Uijeongbu Light Rail Transit Bulgok Station is nearby, and access to Line No. 1 Uijeongbu Station, where the GTX-C line will be added, will make entering central Seoul convenient. For education, Gyeongui Elementary, Cheongryong Elementary, Uijeongbu Elementary, and Sindong Elementary, as well as Balgok Middle, Singok Middle, and Balgok High, are located in the vicinity. In addition, the Jungnangcheon flows right in front of the complex, and Balgok Neighborhood Park and Chudong Neighborhood Park are adjacent, creating a pleasant natural environment, while access to core commercial areas such as Shinsegae Department Store and Rodeo Street is also excellent.
