Samsung C&T said on the 31st that it revamped the brand design for its apartment brand "Raemian." It is the first time in five years that Samsung C&T has changed the brand design.
The new design keeps intact the three vertical lines that symbolize Raemian to carry on its distinct identity, while reconfiguring it into a simple form by emphasizing a sense of space and whitespace. The existing green and gray colors were changed to black and white, visually and intuitively expressing Raemian's philosophy of focusing entirely on the essence of housing rather than extravagance.
The wordmark was developed in three versions—English, Korean, and Chinese characters—and uses a bolder typeface with finely adjusted letter spacing to enhance stability. This allows the brand to present a consistent image across diverse customer touchpoints, from actual living spaces such as building exterior walls and entrance pylons to digital environments such as online and mobile.
The new design is first being applied to Raemian Trini One in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, which recently began move-ins, and will be rolled out sequentially to new Raemian complexes moving in afterward.
Kim Myung-seok, head of the housing product marketing division (executive vice president) at Samsung C&T, said, "This renewal is a process of newly establishing the standards that will lead the next 100 years, inheriting the heritage Raemian has built over the past 26 years while aligning with evolving residential values," and added, "We will continue to advance through differentiated products, services, and technology."
