On Saturday the 29th, the country will be mostly cloudy with rain in places. In some areas, strong rain may fall with gusty winds, thunder, and lightning, so use caution to avoid accidents.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 28th, expected rainfall on the 29th is 20~80 mm in Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, and North Jeolla.
In North Chungcheong, Gwangju and South Jeolla, Daegu and North Gyeongsang, Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang, and southern Gangwon, rain of up to about 60 mm is expected. In southern Gyeonggi it will be 10~60 mm, and in central and northern Gangwon and Jeju Island 5~40 mm is forecast.
Rain will continue in the capital region as well. In Seoul and Incheon, the chance of precipitation is forecast at 60% in both the morning and afternoon, and in Suwon it is 60% for both the morning and afternoon.
Temperatures are not expected to drop much while it rains. Morning lows are forecast at 21~26 C, with afternoon highs at 25~33 C.
Seoul is forecast for a morning low of 26 C and an afternoon high of 30 C. Incheon will be 25~30 C, and Suwon 24~30 C. In the south, Gwangju, Busan, Ulsan, and Changwon will reach 32 C for the high, and Jeju will rise to 33 C.
Along the coast, watch for strong winds as well as high seas and swells.
Waves will run 0.5~2.0 meters off the east coast, 0.5~1.0 meters off the west coast, and 0.5~1.5 meters off the south coast. Offshore, waves of 0.5~2.5 meters are expected in the East and South seas, and 0.5~2.0 meters in the West Sea.
