Daebang Construction said on the 10th that it won the contract for the "Sunchang–Gurim national support local road expansion project" ordered by Jeonbuk State.
The project expands and upgrades the national support local road stretching from Baeksan-ri in Sunchang-eup, Sunchang County, Jeonbuk, to the Woljeong-ri area in Gurim-myeon. It proceeded under a comprehensive evaluation bidding system, and the contract amount is about 70.3 billion won.
The construction section totals 9.14 kilometers, and the plan is to improve local traffic conditions by widening to four lanes and upgrading two-lane facilities. The main work includes six bridges (total length 355 meters), 17 drainage culverts (total length 494.3 meters), and 37 cross-drain pipes (total length 942.6 meters). The construction period is about five years from the start date.
A Daebang Construction official said, "We will do our best to carry out the project safely and successfully based on our accumulated construction know-how and technical expertise."
