FastFive said on the 6th that it was selected as the operator of Arts Council Korea (ARKO)'s "2026 creative writing room access support program" and will provide creative spaces to about 350 literary writers.
The creative writing room access support program helps literary writers use writing spaces. Selected writers can use the related spaces from on the 20th of last month to Dec. 20.
FastFive will offer more than 240 spaces nationwide, including 60 directly operated locations and regional partner hubs. Outside the Seoul metropolitan area, it plans to run more than 50 hubs in Gwangju, Daegu, Daejeon, Busan, North Jeolla, and Jeju.
Writers can use lounges, meeting rooms, and independent focus rooms, and can access and reserve spaces through a mobile application.
Last year, 143 locations nationwide were used as writing spaces, and more than 80% of the participating writers at the time reapplied for this year's program.
FastFive has been collaborating on space operations with the Korea Development Institute (KDI) since 2024 and with the Mirae Nanum Foundation since last year. Last year, during the reconstruction of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Seoul Station smart work center, it provided private shared offices as temporary workspaces.
FastFive CEO Kim Dae-il said, "We will continue to expand projects that link private spaces with public services based on cooperation with the government and public institutions."
