It is also upgrading its quality and safety management system using artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation (DX) technologies, while conducting frequent on-site safety inspections by executives to advance not only technological innovation but also on-site operations, strengthening safety-centered management in parallel.

IPARK Hyundai Development Company is upgrading safety management for all processes from construction to completion by adopting drones and Digital Twin technology. In particular, it is working with the smart construction platform company Mayssa, which has ICT expertise, to build a cloud-based drone platform and connect it with building information modeling (BIM) technology to boost productivity and safety on site. It is also using Digital Twin technology, a three-dimensional site management system, to check construction conditions and blind spots on site in real time and conduct surveying reviews, improving both process accuracy and safety.

Digital Twin technology is currently being applied at major sites such as Seoulone IPARK and Cityociel Complex 7, and at the Iksan Busong IPARK site, safety management automation is also underway, with drones detecting whether workers are wearing safety helmets and using safety lanyards.
IPARK Hyundai Development Company operates a CCTV integrated control center and has established a real-time monitoring system for all aboveground and underground areas. In addition, by expanding tower crane CCTV to strengthen the functions of the CCTV integrated control center, it is pushing to identify and respond to workers' safety conditions more quickly. It is installing the system in phases at major sites, including Cheonan IPARK City, as well as Chuncheon, Gunsan, Seoul, and Gwangju.
To strengthen quality, IPARK Hyundai Development Company also introduced a smart material in-out management system that manages in real time all material transport vehicles entering and leaving sites. Instead of the previous surprise inspection method of weighing (vehicle weight measurement), it enabled real-time checks of material in-out status through weighbridges. At sites where installing weighbridges is difficult, it immediately records and analyzes vehicle and material information through a video management system (VMS·Video Management System). All this data is linked to the I-QMS quality management platform, allowing the headquarters to conduct real-time integrated management across all sites.
Meanwhile, to prepare for summer heat waves and heavy rain, IPARK Hyundai Development Company conducted executive on-site inspections at the Gimhae Buwon smart city development project site to prevent workers' heat-related illnesses and strengthen safety and health management. Executives checked safety management for key process statuses on site and examined work conditions, focusing on high-risk work sections. In particular, ahead of the peak heat season, they reviewed measures to prevent workers' heat-related illnesses and the status of health management for outdoor workers.
To enhance communication for worker safety, IPARK Hyundai Development Company is introducing AI technology and applying a continuous learning system that can raise managers' capabilities, further elevating the level of safety management. The company is using an AI multilingual translation system at every site so workers can access information such as pre-task safety briefings (TBM·Tool Box Meeting) and safety training in their native languages via QR codes. In particular, after verifying information accuracy and on-site convenience at Seoulone IPARK, Gonjiam Station Central IPARK, and Cheonan IPARK City, it has established a technological foundation to minimize safety communication errors caused by language barriers and plans to strengthen safety management for foreign workers.
It also built a continuous learning system to enhance the expertise of safety and health managers. It applied the Safety 1,000 Questions and Health 500 Questions, which reflect frequently changing safety and health-related laws, company rules, and industrial safety trends, to the online learning system so all managers can learn on their own at any time. Based on this, it conducts regular evaluations and mock tests to continuously improve practitioners' capabilities and operates the program so a high-level safety culture can take root voluntarily.
