Saemangeum Development and Investment Agency said on the 27th it will approve the supply plan for developed land within sections 1 and 2 of the Saemangeum National Industrial Complex. Starting in the second half of this year, it will push ahead with full-fledged sales procedures for office-use land and parking-lot land.
The supply plan was approved after closely reviewing, from the consumers' perspective, the timing and methods of supplying the developed land in response to a request from the project operator, Korea Rural Community Corporation (KRC), under Article 22 of the Special Act on the Promotion and Support of the Saemangeum Project.
With this land supply approved, it is expected to respond to the successive demand for occupancy by global major corporations within the supplied national industrial complex and help create an industry environment favorable for corporations.
The developed land to be supplied within sections 1 and 2 of the Saemangeum National Industrial Complex totals three lots (27,289.1 square meters). By use, it consists of one office-use lot in section 1 (17,262.1 square meters) and two parking-lot lots in section 2 (10,027 square meters).
The supply will proceed by competitive bidding for end users in accordance with the land supply standards for the Saemangeum project area. The supply price will be determined as the final successful bid price through the Korea Asset Management Corporation electronic asset disposal system (Onbid), with multiple appraisal results serving as the base amount.
Hong Ji-gwang, head of the industrial promotion division at the Saemangeum agency, said, "We will supply support facilities in a timely manner so that corporations can steadily push forward with their projects, and we will also provide consumer-centered administrative services during the sales process to do our best to create an industrial complex favorable for corporations."
