Hoban Construction won the redevelopment project for Geumjeong District 3 in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, with a total construction cost of 230 billion won.
Hoban Construction said on the 26th that it was selected as the builder for the "Geumjeong District 3 redevelopment and maintenance project," which is underway around 766 Geumjeong-dong, Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province.
The project calls for six buildings with 4 underground floors to 35 aboveground floors, 656 apartment units, and ancillary welfare facilities.
Residents of Geumjeong District 3 can use Geumjeong Station, Gunpo Station, and Sanbon Station, served by subway Lines 1 and 4. The GTX-C line is also scheduled to pass through Geumjeong Station. For travel to key areas of Seoul and the greater metropolitan area, use the Geumjeong IC.
Educational facilities such as Gunpo Yangjeong Elementary School, Gunpo Middle School, Geumjeong Middle School, and Gunpo High School are nearby. Various everyday amenities, including Gunpo City Hall and large supermarkets, are also available.
A Hoban Construction official said, "Geumjeong District 3 is a core maintenance project site in Gunpo with an excellent location and future growth potential," adding, "We will carry the project forward stably based on our accumulated experience and technical expertise in urban maintenance projects."
