Hanwha construction division and Hyundai Engineering & Construction said on the 22nd they will launch new sales for Forena Hillstate Jinju in Ihyeon-dong, Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province. As the city's first large builder consortium complex and the first new offering in the area in 21 years, it is expected to draw strong interest from end users.
Created through the Ihyeon 1-5 district redevelopment maintenance project, the complex will have 8 buildings with 2 basement levels to up to 35 above-ground floors, totaling 1,032 units with exclusive areas of 59–110㎡. Of these, 398 units are for general sale.
By exclusive area, the number of units is as follows: ▲59㎡A 211 units ▲59㎡B 21 units ▲72㎡A 149 units ▲72㎡B 96 units ▲84㎡A 384 units ▲84㎡B 103 units ▲110㎡A 68 units.
Ihyeon-dong, where the complex will be built, is part of Jinju's original downtown living area, allowing residents to use existing infrastructure such as education, transportation, and cultural facilities.
Ihyeon-dong has had no new apartment sales since 1,268 units were supplied in 2005. Forena Hillstate Jinju is the first redevelopment project in Ihyeon-dong and the first large builder consortium apartment supplied in Jinju.
Near the complex are Jinju-daero and a ring road, and residents can access the Tongyeong–Daejeon Expressway and the Namhae Expressway via the West Jinju interchange. Jinju Intercity Bus Terminal and Jinju Express Bus Terminal are about 10 minutes away by car, and KTX Jinju Station is about 20 minutes away.
Chokseok Elementary School and Daea Middle and High School are close to the complex. Within a radius of about 1 km are Bongwon Elementary School, Bonggok Elementary School, Jinju Girls' Middle School, and Gyeongjin High School. Residents can also use Jinju City Seobu Library and the Pyeonggeo-dong private academy district.
Retail and cultural facilities available from the complex include Hanaro Mart, E-MART, Galleria Department Store, and Megabox. Gyeongsang National University Hospital (GNUH) and Jinju Goryeo Hospital are about 10 minutes away by car. Jinju Public Stadium and baseball park, Sukhosan, and Seokgabsan cypress forest park are also nearby.
All 59㎡ units feature a four-bay, plate-type layout. The complex is oriented mainly to the south, and the parking ratio is 1.6 cars per household. Planned community facilities include a central plaza, pet park, children's playground, residents' exercise facilities, guest house, sauna, shared office, screen golf range, fitness club, and kids' cafe.
Lee Joong-seok, head of sales at Hanwha construction division, said, "This is a large-scale complex presented by a consortium of major builders in Ihyeon-dong, where existing living infrastructure is in place," adding, "We focused on differentiating the product with layouts and community facilities."
