Samsung C&T's construction division will apply its home platform "Homeniq" to "Haemoro," the apartment brand of HJ Shipbuilding & Construction's construction division.
Samsung C&T said on the 15th that it signed a business agreement on the 14th at the HJ Shipbuilding & Construction headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to provide "Haemoro by Homeniq," a residential services app, to HJ Shipbuilding & Construction.
At the signing ceremony, key officials including Kim Myung-seok, head of Samsung C&T's Housing Product Marketing Division (executive vice president), and Hwang Ui-ha, head of HJ Shipbuilding & Construction's Architecture Business Division (senior executive director), attended.
"Haemoro by Homeniq" will provide residents of qualifying complexes—among new-build projects under HJ Shipbuilding & Construction's apartment brand "Haemoro" that meet the application criteria—with home IoT control, community facility reservations, residential support center functions (notices and maintenance fee inquiries), vehicle management such as parking location and visitor vehicle reservations, energy management, and daily convenience services.
Kim Myung-seok, head of Samsung C&T's Housing Product Marketing Division (executive vice president), said, "By providing the Haemoro by Homeniq service to residents, we will help HJ Shipbuilding & Construction create premium residential spaces."
Hwang Ui-ha, head of HJ Shipbuilding & Construction's Architecture Business Division (senior executive director), said, "Through this business agreement, we have created an opportunity to introduce a higher level of smart residential services tailored to the characteristics of each project site."
Homeniq is currently being applied not only to Samsung C&T's Raemian complexes but also to brand apartments by SK ecoplant, Hanwha, Doosan Engineering & Construction Co., HS Hwasung, WOOMI Construction Co., and Hoban Construction.
