Eunha Village in Jung-dong, Bucheon, which is moving to appoint Korea Real Estate Investment & Trust Co. (KOREIT) as the project executor, has completed its application for designation of the project executor.
The residents' delegation of Eunha Village said on the 8th that it submitted an application for designation with Korea Real Estate Investment & Trust Co. (KOREIT) as the project executor. It came 20 days after the June 15 public notice designating the special maintenance district, and six days after the start of collecting consents for designation of the project executor, it secured the consent rate.
Jung-dong New Town in Bucheon selected Eunha Village and Bandal Village A as pilot districts in 2024, and this year is pushing to designate special maintenance districts for about 22,000 households.
After being selected as a pilot district in 2024, Eunha Village signed a business agreement in 2025 with Korea Real Estate Investment & Trust Co. (KOREIT) and has promoted the maintenance project under a trust method. After proposing the special maintenance plan in January this year, it went through a public viewing by residents and reviews by the landscape and urban planning committees, and on June it was designated a special maintenance district.
The residents' delegation said, "After the public notice designating the project executor, we plan to proceed with preparations within the year to form the maintenance project committee and select a builder."
Eunha Village is a complex of four blocks (Daewoo-Dongbu, Hyosung-Ssangyong, Jugong 1 and 2) located in Jung-dong, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, totaling 2,387 households. Once reconstruction is completed, it is set to be developed into a residential complex of about 3,400 households. It is adjacent to Line 7 Bucheon City Hall Station, and the opening of GTX-B Bucheon Sports Complex Station is also planned.
