HJ Shipbuilding & Construction said on the 6th that its construction division was selected as the preferred bidder for detailed design for the "Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) exhibition hall 3 construction project," ordered by the Busan Metropolitan City Construction Headquarters. The construction cost is 257.2 billion won, and the construction period is 50 months from the groundbreaking date.
The project to build BEXCO exhibition hall 3 will add an exhibition hall with a total floor area of 58,810㎡, one basement level and four above-ground floors, on the parking lot site in front of BEXCO exhibition hall 1 in Haeundae District, Busan.
The HJ Shipbuilding & Construction consortium, selected as the winning bidder, will carry out construction of the priority portion and proceed with detailed design for the remaining parts, and is expected to break ground at the end of the year after coordination with the Busan City Construction Headquarters.
