The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport selected 17 policy achievements that the public can feel, including reaching 5 million users of "Everyone's Card" and strengthening support for victims of jeonse fraud, and carried out special commendations.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said on the 5th that it held the first Special Performance Award ceremony for Land and Transport and commended a total of 81 people for 17 achievements.
The special performance bonus system, introduced for the first time this year, pays up to 30 million won depending on results to employees who deliver outstanding policy outcomes. Awardees were selected after evaluations by 200 external committee members and citizen jurors.
Major awardees included "reaching 5 million users of Everyone's Card," "strengthening support for victims of jeonse fraud," and "laying the foundation for integrated operation of KTX and SRT," each receiving a 15 million won bonus.
In addition, attracting private investment to Saemangeum, financial support for overseas investment and development projects, reducing deaths from construction accidents, and improving regulations for parking robots were also included among the awardees.
Minister Kim Yun-duk of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said, "We will provide motivation to work proactively by including not only results-oriented outcomes but also challenging tasks among the awardees."
