Seoul Housing and Urban Development Corporation (SH) said on the 1st that it appointed Lee Seok-jung, chief of public relations, as executive director and head of the Housing Welfare Headquarters.
The new Deputy Minister graduated from the business administration department at Jeonbuk National University and earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Seoul. In 1992, Lee joined SH Corporation as an administrative employee and handled on-site housing welfare operations. Lee later served as head of the Public Housing Department, head of the Management Administration Department, head of the Hangang Development Project Group, and chief of public relations.
Deputy Minister Lee will steadily push forward major housing welfare programs by Seoul City and SH, including "working with the underprivileged" and "Mirinae House," and will lead key sites for the 9th popularly elected administration's municipal projects.
