SK ecoplant said on the 29th that it won the contract for the reconstruction project of Suji Samsung 2nd Apartment in Yongin, Gyeonggi.
The Suji Samsung 2nd Apartment reconstruction is a project to build apartments and ancillary welfare facilities with three basement levels to 29 above-ground floors in four buildings, totaling 479 households, at 692-1 Pungdeokcheon-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi. The total contract amount is about 204.8 billion won.
The project site is in a station area about a seven-minute walk from Sujigu Office Station on the Shinbundang Line, providing convenient access to Seoul's Gangnam area and the core areas of southern Gyeonggi, including Bundang and Pangyo. It is also close to the Gyeongbu Expressway and the Bundang–Suseo Urban Expressway, allowing easy vehicle access to major business districts in Seoul and to semiconductor clusters in Giheung and Yongin.
Lee Gi-yeol, an executive overseeing urban redevelopment projects at SK ecoplant, said, "Based on the experience accumulated through urban redevelopment projects and our excellent construction capabilities, we will work to make this site a local landmark," adding, "We will continue to work to win high-quality urban redevelopment projects."
