Global commercial real estate service corporations Cushman & Wakefield Korea said on the 26th that it held the "2026 C&W Hotel Market Session" at its headquarters in the Seoul Finance Center on the 25th.
The event was prepared to provide hotel market stakeholders with an understanding of the market and an investment perspective. More than 50 people attended, including asset managers, institutional investors, hotel owners, developers, operators, and hotel brand officials.
The event was divided into three sessions — ◇ current status and outlook of the Seoul hotel market ◇ analysis of Seoul hotel transaction cases ◇ Hilton's strategy in the Korea hotel market — and also included a panel discussion on the theme of changes and opportunities in the Korea hotel market.
Chae Kai, senior director of the Consulting Group at Cushman & Wakefield Korea, said, "The Seoul hotel market maintains a favorable environment of a solid demand base and limited new supply," and added, "However, rising development expenses and changes in the operating environment are prompting investors to take a more cautious approach to market validation and investment structuring."
