Hyundai Engineering & Construction said on the 18th that it signed a business agreement with Seoul Club and will introduce a private social community model at Apgujeong Hyundai.
Seoul Club, founded in 1904, is Korea's only international social club and has long served as a venue for exchanges among diplomats and Korean and foreign members. Hyundai Engineering & Construction said this is the first strategic partnership with an external institution since Seoul Club's founding.
Through this agreement, Seoul Club will apply an operating model that strengthens social and exchange functions to the Apgujeong Hyundai community space. It will prepare operating scenarios to promote intergenerational exchange and resident networking, and will also grant a Seoul Club certification mark to certain signature spaces.
The community programs will also be expanded. In addition to music, art, and sports, it plans to run noblesse oblige programs such as charitable activities.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to implement a "private social town" model by integrating Seoul Club's heritage and operating expertise into the Apgujeong Hyundai community.
A Hyundai Engineering & Construction official said, "We pursued this collaboration to build the Apgujeong reconstruction complex not as a simple residential space but as a private social town where global leaders interact," and added, "By combining the history of Seoul Club with Hyundai Engineering & Construction's technological prowess, we will present differentiated residential value."
