Daewoo Engineering & Construction said on the 18th that it was selected on the 16th as the contractor for the Cheonho A1-1 district public redevelopment and maintenance project.
The Cheonho A1-1 district public redevelopment and maintenance project will build eight apartment buildings with 5 basement floors to 40 above-ground floors, totaling 747 units, at 467-61 Cheonho-dong, Gangdong District, Seoul. The total construction cost is 372 billion won.
Daewoo Engineering & Construction plans to introduce a landmark complex by applying the high-end residential brand "SUMMIT." The complex will be named "SUMMIT TRIVER," embodying the meaning of three symbolic main buildings and emphasizing the premium of Han River views.
The design was carried out in collaboration with global architecture group UNStudio. UNStudio is a world-renowned architecture group that designed the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Germany and Arnhem Central Station in the Netherlands.
The complex will feature a themed garden of about 6,346.78 square meters and a sky lounge with 360-degree views. It was designed to overlook the Han River and downtown from a height of about 120 meters at most, and the layout maximizes river views. In addition, a total of 21 floor plan types will reflect diverse housing needs, and high-end specialized products such as Han River view penthouses will also be introduced.
A Daewoo Engineering & Construction official said, "We will develop it into a landmark complex representing Gangdong District through differentiated design, a premium community, and specialized Han River views."
