LX Hausys joined hands with the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation to train skilled workers for construction maintenance. Graduates who complete the practical construction training program prepared by the two organizations can even gain employment opportunities.
On the 13th, at the "LX Z:IN Interior Academy" in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, LX Hausys held a business agreement ceremony with the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation for a "training program for multi-skilled construction maintenance workers."
Attendees at the signing included Jeong Jin-bok, head of customer service at LX Hausys, and Lee Jin-hee, head of the convergence talent division at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation.
The agreement aims to train practical skilled workers required on construction sites and support graduates who complete the program to find jobs by connecting them to construction companies' after-sales service (A/S) partner firms.
The two sides plan to jointly run a flooring installation training program for a total of 30 people this year (15 per session). The program will be conducted using the infrastructure of the "LX Z:IN Interior Academy," LX Hausys' specialized training facility for developing installation personnel.
LX Hausys will provide ◇ a flooring installation practice training center ◇ professional instructors ◇ installation tools and materials. The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will handle ▲ recruiting and managing trainees ▲ covering tuition, and oversee the overall training program.
After a separate hiring process, graduates can find jobs at construction companies' A/S partner firms nationwide.
An LX Hausys official said, "We believe this collaboration with the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will be a good opportunity to address the shortage of skilled installers in the domestic interior industry and improve installation quality," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in training excellent installation personnel and creating jobs by leveraging LX Hausys' specialized training infrastructure and collaborating with various institutions."
