Gyeryong Construction said on the 12th that its employees carried out sharing activities for neighbors in need in the local community.
Representing Gyeryong Construction employees, Director General Yu Dong-yeol, Director Yun Young-no, and employee Park Gwang-sun visited the Good Neighbors Center, a psychiatric rehabilitation facility in Daeheung-dong, Jung District, Daejeon, that day and delivered 11,811,043 won in donations.
The donations will be used to run education programs to improve information accessibility for people with mental disabilities and bridge the digital divide, and to purchase office PCs.
Since 2020, Gyeryong Construction employees have voluntarily pooled a certain amount of their monthly salaries to create a fund, and have continued social contribution activities such as supporting free meals for vulnerable groups and housing support for low-income seniors living alone.
Yu Dong-yeol, head of the employees' association, said, "We hope the sharing prepared with the sincerity of our employees will help facility users," adding, "We will continue to provide support for the local community going forward."
