Hyundai Engineering & Construction said on the 11th that it unveiled a promotional center for the Apgujeong District 3 reconstruction project that brings together future residential technologies.

The promotional center, which opened on the 3rd, operates on a reservation-only basis for association members and was organized as a space where visitors can directly experience future living under the "OWN THE ONE" vision.

At the center of the promotional facility, a portion of the circular community "THE CIRCLE ONE," a core proposal element, was built at a 1:1 scale. The indoor structure measures 17 meters wide, 3.5 meters high, and 1.2 kilometers in total length, and is equipped with heating, cooling, and air purification systems so residents can enjoy walks and relaxation year-round regardless of the weather. It connects all buildings and key facilities within the complex, enhancing mobility convenience.

Hyundai Motor Group's artificial intelligence (AI)-based demand-responsive transport (DRT) autonomous shuttle will also be introduced. It generates optimal routes in real time based on user requests and connects the interior of the complex with major living areas, while on site, the MobED, nano mobility, and SPOT safety service robots are on display to showcase mobility, logistics, and safety management technologies.

The exterior design will proceed in collaboration with global architecture groups such as RAMSA and Morphosis. Riverfront-specialized designs will be applied to the eight buildings along the Han River to create a skyline with differentiated exteriors for each building and high-end stone finishes. The lower levels will use a podium structure, and the upper levels will feature crystal-design rooftop elements to realize a three-dimensional urban landscape.

Inside, a "canvas unit" design allows flexible configuration of space, excluding the outer walls and columns of each unit. The plan also includes 54 penthouses, with a "triplex super penthouse" on the 65th-floor top level.

The landscaping will be created as a three-dimensional ecological forest in collaboration with Gustafson Porter + Bowman (GPB) and Greenwise, including about 35,700 pyeong of green space and 13,000 trees. In an area of about 80,000 pyeong, 12 themed courtyards will be laid out, and artworks will be introduced to organize the entire complex like a single gallery.

The community facility "Club Apgujeong" will be built at about 45,000 pyeong and will offer premium services linked with a health care system developed with Cha Hospital and The Classic 500, as well as Hermes, L'Occitane, Bang & Olufsen, and the Hyundai Department Store Culture Center. To reduce congestion in large-scale facilities, a distributed structure utilizing "THE CIRCLE ONE" and the autonomous shuttle was also applied.

A Hyundai Engineering & Construction official said, "The Apgujeong District 3 promotional center is a place where you can directly confirm the pinnacle of future housing," adding, "We will create a new landmark for Apgujeong as a living platform that combines housing, culture, and health."
