Kyerong Construction said on the 11th that it shared the meaning of health and unity by running with local residents.
Kyerong Construction enjoyed a sports event with citizens as 117 executives and employees, including Chair Lee Seung-chan, took part in the "22nd Daejeon Three Major Rivers Marathon" held at Daejeon Expo Citizens' Square on the 10th.
This was the second year in a row the company joined the marathon, with executives and employees who enjoy running participating voluntarily. Participants competed in the 10km and 5km categories and all finished.
Forty members of the in-house marathon club, "Kyerong Running Team," also joined. The club has met regularly for training since it was formed last year.
Participants spent time running with citizens and reflected on the meaning of organizational culture and communication with the local community.
One participant said, "I regained energy through the marathon and found a reason to keep exercising," adding, "Next time, I plan to train with the goal of completing 10km."
A Kyerong Construction official said, "Executives and employees exercised together to strengthen health and unity and spent time with the local community," adding, "We will continue communication with the local community through various activities."
