Seoul Housing and Urban Development Corporation (SH) said on the 6th that it will take part in the 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo, held around Seoul Forest from May 1 to Oct. 27, and unveil its institutional garden, The Dwelling Line.
The expo, under the theme "Seoul, Green Culture," offers 167 gardens across 90,000 square meters in the areas of Seoul Forest, the Han River, Seongsu, and Gwangjin. Artists, corporations, institutions, and citizens took part to create a variety of gardens that capture Seoul's nature and culture.
The Dwelling Line, which SH created next to the main stage on the lawn plaza, is a garden that interprets the traditional spatial composition of hanok and nature-friendly elements in a contemporary way. While dividing spaces, it staged the garden's "line" to avoid visual disconnection and linked various elements including a rain garden, a small forest, and a viewing table. Visitors can sit comfortably on the garden structures, relax, and take in the scenery of Seoul Forest.
