Dongbu Corporation will expand the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) across its operations to strengthen its digital competitiveness.
Dongbu Corporation said on the 6th that after a pilot introduction last year, starting in early last month it allowed all employees to freely use Generative AI and has been applying it across routine tasks such as drafting documents, conducting research, summarizing meetings, and organizing data.
Going forward, it plans to broaden its use to on-site construction support and to building an in-house, data-driven work system. It will also progressively advance a data-driven utilization framework, including introducing job-specific AI tailored to each department's work characteristics.
A Dongbu Corporation official said, "We will continue to identify practical ways to use it that cover both headquarters and worksites and create an environment where employees can use AI safely and effectively, thereby strengthening our companywide digital competitiveness."
