Mid-sized builders will supply 3,952 dwellings nationwide in May.
The Korea Housing Builders Association said on the 30th that, after compiling May dwelling sale plans from its member companies, it found that 10 companies will supply a total of 3,952 dwellings at 9 business sites. That is down 47% (3,478 dwellings) from the previous month (7,430 dwellings). However, it is up 145% (2,337 dwellings) from the same month a year earlier (1,615 dwellings).
In the greater Seoul area, 1,712 dwellings will be supplied, including Gyeonggi (1,111 dwellings) and Incheon (601 dwellings). That rose 84% (783 dwellings) from the previous month and 8,911% (1,693 dwellings) from a year earlier.
In the provinces, 2,240 dwellings will be supplied, down 66% from the previous month. It increased 40% (644 dwellings) from the same period a year earlier. The specific supply regions are South Jeolla (1,679 dwellings), Ulsan (481 dwellings), and Jeju (90 dwellings).
