Gyeryong Construction said on the 29th that it will take part in the 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo at Seoul Forest and unveil the "ELIF Garden."
Gyeryong Construction will unveil the eco-friendly healing space "ELIF Garden (ELIF Garden)" at this expo, held from the 1st to Oct. 27, under the theme of "harmony between people and people, people and nature, and people and space." The garden embodies, in spatial form, the life values and expansion of relationships that the Gyeryong Construction residential brand "ELIF" pursues.
ELIF Garden was created with inspiration from the "madang" culture of traditional Korean gardens. It is designed so that visitors can naturally stay, interact, and share a sense of ease even within an urban park, and red tempered glass is applied to the pavilion's exterior to offer an experience of viewing everyday scenery from a new perspective.
To coincide with the expo's opening, Gyeryong Construction plans to run various hands-on programs and participatory events at the ELIF Garden pavilion from May 1 to 10. It will offer multisensory content encompassing sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste to encourage visitor participation, and will give participants an "ELIF sachet." It will also run on-site engagement programs, including providing coffee beverages through a social networking service (SNS) participation event.
Gyeryong Construction has carried out diverse projects in the landscaping field. Through projects such as the creation of the Seoul Botanic Park, it has demonstrated the capability to build spaces where nature and architecture are in harmony, and it has secured quality and design competitiveness through public and private landscaping projects. It also holds numerous awards, including the Presidential Award at the Korea Landscape Awards.
A Gyeryong Construction official said, "Through this ELIF Garden, we aim to convey the value of a life coexisting with nature to citizens," adding, "Based on sustainable landscaping technology and differentiated spatial design, we will strengthen our role as an eco-friendly construction corporations."
