Hanwha's construction division said on the 29th that interest in nearby for-sale complexes is rising as construction to establish the fifth international school in the Jeju English Education City moves into full swing.
According to the Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC), "Fulton Science Academy Atherton (FSAA)" held a groundbreaking ceremony at 2 p.m. on the 28th at Jeju Shinhwa World. FSAA is a global campus of the private school "Fulton Science Academy (FSA)" in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a science and engineering–focused school centered on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education.
It is planned to operate with a total capacity of 1,354 students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with an online school information session in the third quarter of this year, an official admissions briefing in Aug. 2027, and an opening targeted for Aug. 2028.
As construction proceeds on FSA's global campus, known for sending 75% of its graduates to the top 50 U.S. universities, interest in the Jeju English Education City is also expanding. In particular, with the student capacity in the English education city expected to increase, interest in nearby for-sale complexes is also growing.
Among them, "Hanwha Fore Na Jeju Edu City" is a complex built with one basement level to five above-ground floors, 29 buildings, exclusive areas of 84–210 square meters, and a total of 503 units in Boseong-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo. Construction has been completed, allowing immediate move-in.
The complex is a five-minute drive from the Jeju English Education City, and a shuttle bus within the complex supports commuting to school and getting around. International schools operating in the Jeju English Education City include Korea International School Jeju (KIS), North London Collegiate School Jeju (NLCS), Branksome Hall Asia (BHA), and St. Johnsbury Academy Jeju (SJA).
The complex features 2.6-meter ceiling heights and 60-millimeter inter-floor cushioning, along with community facilities such as a golf training center, fitness center, GX room, guesthouse, reading room, and study room. An underground parking lot with a capacity of 1.92 vehicles per unit has also been built.
Sales manager Jo Sung-jun said, "Inquiries about purchases have increased since the Fulton Science Academy Atherton groundbreaking ceremony," adding, "We expect interest in the Jeju English Education City to continue."
