WOOMI Construction Co.'s consortium said on the 28th it will begin sales of "Pyeongtaek Godeok WOOMILIN Prestige" on the Abc-36 block within the Godeok Internationalization Planning District in Godeok-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The private-sale complex is subject to the price ceiling system and will have 11 buildings with 743 units in total, ranging from two basement levels to 20 above-ground floors, in exclusive areas of 84, 94, 101 and 111 square meters.
The Godeok Internationalization Planning District, where the complex will be built, is a key residential base supporting the large-scale semiconductor production base Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek Campus. Within walking distance from the complex, an administrative town and an international exchange district are planned, to which Pyeongtaek City Hall and City Council (under construction) will transfer. A Godeok international school is also planned.
Transportation access is also strong. Using the SRT from Pyeongtaek Jije Station, riders can reach Suseo quickly, and access to major hubs in Seoul and the greater capital area is excellent via Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 1 (Seojeong-ri Station, Pyeongtaek Jije Station) and the Pyeongtaek Godeok IC. If additional expansions are made as planned—KTX from Suwon (planned), extensions of GTX-A and C lines (planned), and BRT routes (planned)—wide-area transit conditions are expected to strengthen further.
Next to the complex, Goduk Elementary School No. 8 (planned) and middle and high schools within walking distance are planned, allowing for safe commutes to school. Neighborhood commercial zones and business/medical-use sites are planned within walking distance, and the area will feature abundant green space including a cultural park (planned) within the district and Hambaksan Central Park. Cultural facilities such as the Pyeongtaek Art Center, Pyeongtaek Museum (planned), and Pyeongtaek Central Library (planned) are also slated to be established.
In particular, for the international school to be built on the adjacent Godeok International School site, "Annie Wright Schools," a prestigious private school in Washington state in the United States, signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Pyeongtaek City as the establishing and operating corporation, and the international school will be an integrated institution operating from kindergarten through high school.
Pyeongtaek Godek WOOMILIN Prestige is designed mainly with 4-bay, slab-type layouts and maximizes openness with open balconies (for applicable units). With a south-facing orientation for most of the complex, it secures daylight and ventilation, and it is designed as a pleasant, safe complex with no aboveground parking and ample parking of 1.5 spaces per household (excluding neighborhood living facility parking). Community facilities include a fitness club, indoor golf practice range, indoor table tennis room, gender-separated study rooms, and a small library, and through the Home Platform HOMENIC operated and managed by Samsung C&T, residents are expected to enjoy a high-level smart life.
A sales official said, "As the global semiconductor market enters a boom cycle, including the resumption of construction on Plant 5 (P5) at Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek Campus, a positive momentum is forming in the real estate market of Godeok New Town in Pyeongtaek," adding, "In particular, even within the phase-3 development zone that will lead this uptrend, Pyeongtaek Godeok WOOMILIN Prestige, which will rise in a prime location, will establish itself as a landmark leading the area."
The model home for Pyeongtaek Godeok WOOMILIN Prestige is scheduled to open in May at 1694-1057, Godeok-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.
