Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) said on the 28th that it held an opening ceremony for the "BIFC-2 Namu Daycare Center."
At the event held on the previous day at the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC-2) in Nam-gu, Busan, key officials attended, including the deputy head of Nam-gu District and the heads of the four co-operating institutions—HUG, Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), Korea Securities Depository (KSD), and Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF)—as well as the labor union chairpersons.
The BIFC-2 Namu Daycare Center is a workplace daycare jointly established and operated by four institutions, with HUG as the lead agency, together with Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), Korea Securities Depository (KSD), and Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF).
The daycare center is jointly operated by the four institutions to provide a stable, high-quality childcare environment for employees' children, helping reduce employees' childcare burdens and support work-life balance.
Choi In-ho, HUG president, said, "The BIFC-2 Namu Daycare Center will be a place where employees can confidently entrust their children and where children can grow up healthy," adding, "We will continue to expand various programs to promote work-life balance."
HUG plans to use the opening of this daycare center as an opportunity to further strengthen its family-friendly organizational culture and continue efforts to improve employee welfare.
