GS Engineering & Construction was selected as the Sigongsa for the redevelopment of Seongsu Strategic Maintenance Zone District 1 (Seongsu District 1) in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, pushing its cumulative urban maintenance project orders this year past 4 trillion won.
According to the maintenance industry and GS Engineering & Construction on the 27th, the Seongsu District 1 redevelopment association held a regular general meeting on the 25th and passed an agenda item selecting GS Engineering & Construction as the Sigongsa.

The construction cost is 2.154 trillion won, the largest among the four districts within the Seongsu Strategic Maintenance Zone.
GS Engineering & Construction proposed "RIVENIQUE XI" as the complex name to the association.
GS Engineering & Construction's cumulative orders this year for urban maintenance projects total 4.0259 trillion won, which is about half of this year's order target of 8 trillion won. The company secured construction rights for the Songpa Hanyang 2nd reconstruction in Songpa-dong, Songpa-gu (685.6 billion won), and the Gaepo Woosung 6th reconstruction in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu (215.4 billion won).
