Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) said on the 16th that it will carry out the "LH specialized call for growth new technologies for small and midsize enterprises" to discover outstanding new technologies of small and midsize enterprises and support their growth.
The call was prepared to actively discover outstanding new technologies from small and midsize enterprises and support commercialization and market expansion, thereby building a stable new-technology ecosystem.
The fields are five: ▲ AI (artificial intelligence) ▲ sustainable energy and climate response ▲ safety and disaster response enhancement ▲ digital and smart construction ▲ housing stability and innovations in supplying dwellings. LH will select related growth new technologies for 11 ideas among these and apply the selected new technologies to at least one LH construction site district.
Small and midsize enterprises that hold patents or government-certified new technologies in the relevant fields can apply through the "SME Technology Market*" platform by the 31st of next month. Final selections are scheduled to be made in June after deliberation.
Lee Sang-jo, head of LH Smart Construction and Safety Headquarters, said, "We plan to discover outstanding new technologies through the call and make it possible to apply them in the field," adding, "We will actively support small and midsize enterprises with strong technological capabilities and competitiveness so they can grow stably and achieve co-prosperity."
