HS Hwasung said on the 7th that it won the construction contract for the "Goyang Changneung S-3BL Apartment Section 5," ordered by the Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH).
The project is to build publicly sold apartments at 827 Yongdu-dong, Deogyang District, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
The complex will have a total floor area of 185,354 square meters, with two basement levels to 28 above-ground floors, 25 buildings, and 1,282 households. The construction period is about 43 months from the start date. The total contract amount is about 281.9 billion won.
To that end, HS Hwasung will invest 75% equity. Reflecting that, HS Hwasung's contract amount is about 211.4 billion won. HS Hwasung will carry out the project as a joint contract (J/V) with Daeseong Verhill Construction and DHS Construction.
In particular, the project was ordered through the "comprehensive evaluation bidding system" (Jongsimje). The system selects a successful bidder by comprehensively evaluating not only price but also construction capability, technological competence, construction execution plan, and safety management level. A representative of HS Hwasung noted that a construction company's technological prowess and project execution capabilities serve as key evaluation factors.
