Muyoung CM Architects, a construction management (CM) specialist, said on the 7th that it was selected as the construction management firm for the Jamsil Jugong Complex 5 apartment reconstruction and maintenance project, regarded as the largest prize in the Han River belt reconstruction market in Seoul.
The Jamsil Jugong Complex 5 reconstruction is a project to create a large complex of up to 65 stories and 6,387 households on a site of about 358,077 square meters (about 108,300 pyeong) at 27, Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. With its excellent transportation, schools, and proximity to workplaces, as well as the symbolism of the Han River belt, it is considered one of the leading stocks in Seoul's reconstruction market.
In the bidding evaluation for construction management services promoted by the Jamsil Jugong Complex 5 Reconstruction and Maintenance Association, Muyoung CM received high marks for its extensive CM track record in reconstruction and redevelopment urban maintenance projects, as well as a concrete proposal for solutions to verify construction costs and enhance project value.
With this contract, Muyoung CM will perform professional construction management across the entire maintenance project for Jamsil Jugong Complex 5, including ▲ permitting support ▲ support for amendments to construction lump-sum contracts ▲ review of cost-saving measures.
Recently, Muyoung CM has consecutively won construction management service contracts for landmark complexes across Seoul, including the Apgujeong District 2 and District 5 and Shinbanpo Phase 2 reconstruction projects, as well as the Seongsu District 1 redevelopment, which accounts for 43% of the Seongsu Strategic Maintenance Zone.
