HanmiGlobal, a domestic construction project management (PM) specialist, was selected as the preferred bidder for construction project management for the Samik Beach (Namcheon District 2) reconstruction and maintenance project, regarded as the largest redevelopment in Busan.
HanmiGlobal said on the 6th that it was finalized as the preferred PM bidder at the regular general meeting of the Samik Beach reconstruction association in Namcheon-dong, Suyeong District, Busan.
Samik Beach is a large complex of 3,060 households completed in 1979 and is a representative traditional wealthy neighborhood in Busan with a location facing Gwangalli Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge. The association plans to complete approval for changes to the project implementation plan in the first half of this year and pursue approval for the management and disposition plan in the second half. Through reconstruction, it is set to be reborn as a Busan landmark complex with a maximum of 59 stories.
PM is a professional service that oversees the entire project on behalf of the ordering association and performs quality, expense, and schedule management. It integrates the design firm, construction company, and partner companies, and improves the project's transparency and decision-making speed through construction cost verification and conflict mediation.
HanmiGlobal has carried out numerous supertall landmark residential facilities, including Haeundae LCT, Haeundae I'Park, Doosan We've the Zenith, and Tower Palace in Dogok-dong, Seoul. Recently, it has also won PM contracts for the Hannam District 3 and Apgujeong District 3 reconstructions and the Olympic Athletes' Village reconstruction in succession.
