Daewoo Engineering & Construction said on the 6th that, as it was selected on the 4th as the contractor for the "Yongin Giheung District 1" and the "Mapo Seongsan Moa Town initiative District 3" redevelopment projects, its cumulative orders for redevelopment projects this year have exceeded 2 trillion won.
Giheung District 1 is a project to reconstruct the Hansung 1st Apartments around 380, Giheung-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi. The project will consist of seven buildings with 783 households, from two basement floors to 39 above-ground floors, and the construction cost is 255.3 billion won. Seongsan Moa Town initiative District 3 is expected to feature a complex of six buildings with 480 households, from five basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, and the construction cost is 189.3 billion won.
Daewoo Engineering & Construction proposed "Giheung Station Prugio Masterpiece" and "Mapo Prugio Tres Royal" as the new names for the two complexes, respectively.
A Daewoo Engineering & Construction official said, "We will present a new standard for redevelopment projects based on integrated capabilities that go beyond simple construction to encompass planning, design, and construction," adding, "We will introduce a landmark complex that enhances the value of the area with product appeal and quality that meet the expectations of union members."
