Korea Real Estate Board (REB) said on the 2nd that it signed a "business agreement to support the creation of a sound and transparent dwellings subscription market" with the Korea Housing Association at the REB Seoul office.
The agreement was pursued to strengthen public-private cooperation to support the government's measures against illegal real estate activities and to prevent fraudulent subscriptions, thereby contributing to the creation of a fair dwellings subscription market.
The two institutions plan to promote: ▲ publicity to create a fair dwellings subscription market ▲ improving public awareness through guidance at model dwellings ▲ mutual cooperation to prevent fraudulent subscriptions.
Lee Jae-myung, head of market management at REB, said, "By combining REB's stable experience operating the Cheongyak Home platform and the association's leading efforts in developing the dwellings industry, multifaceted preventive activities to eradicate fraudulent subscriptions will be carried out," adding, "We will continue to share experiences and work organically to create a dwellings subscription market that the public can trust."
