GGAuction, a data company specializing in auctions and public auctions, said on the 2nd that it was selected as a "meritorious taxpayer" chosen by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and received a commendation from the mayor of Seoul. Meritorious taxpayers were selected by Seoul after considering contribution to city revenue and contribution to the local community, with a total of 147 corporations and individuals chosen from among those recommended by the 25 districts.
GGAuction was included among this year's meritorious taxpayers in recognition of its faithful payment of local government tax and its contribution to the local community. Its significant contribution to Seoul's finances and its efforts to create social value through volunteer work were reflected, leading to its final selection following a recommendation from Yongsan District and deliberation by the Seoul Local Tax Deliberation Committee.
