Seoul Housing and Urban Development Corporation (SH) said on the 30th that it carried out a reorganization and personnel moves to swiftly push ahead with Seoul City's key policy projects.
SH created a Business Control Office to oversee projects across the organization; a Urban Development Department and an Activation Planning Department to secure momentum for new businesses; and a Housing Management Department to strengthen management of small-scale dwellings and vacant homes.
In addition, it reinforced the Yongsan Development Department, which is dedicated to developing the Yongsan International Business District, and unified departments related to redevelopment projects into a Redevelopment Project Headquarters to accelerate project delivery. To embed ESG (environment, social responsibility, improvement of corporations' governance) management, it placed the ESG Strategy Department under the direct supervision of the president and integrated departments with similar functions.
Hwang Sang-ha, SH president, said, "We reorganized to more quickly push forward key policy projects to enhance the urban competitiveness of future Seoul," and added, "We will keep changing and innovating to realize the vision of being an "urban specialist public corporation that creates an attractive Seoul where citizens are happy."
